Getting Started- Home → See “Fruit of the Day,” quick mood presets, and your recent items.
- Library → Browse or search fruits. Tap a card to view details; tap the heart to favorite.
- Recipes → Filter by difficulty/time. Open any recipe for ingredients and step-by-step directions.
- Mood Lab → Adjust sliders (Warmth, Zest, Sweetness, Texture, Effort) or pick a preset. We’ll suggest fruits and recipes that fit.
- Journal → Log tastings, notes, or recipe results. Your entries stay on device.
Favorites & Journal- Tap the heart on any fruit to add/remove it from Favorites.
- In a recipe, use Add to Journal after you cook to remember tweaks and ratings.
- Journal entries are editable; long-press to delete.
Seasons & Taste Bars- Season badges are general guidance for common regions; local seasons can vary.
- Sweet/Tart bars are comparative and educational—not strict ratings.
Data & Privacy- FruityTale does not require an account and does not upload your entries to our servers.
- Your favorites, mood settings, and journal are stored locally on your device.
- If you enabled system backups (e.g., iCloud device backup), Apple may back up the app’s local data with your device settings.
Troubleshooting- App feels slow or lists look empty: Force-quit and reopen.
- Can’t find a fruit: Try a simpler keyword or visit Library → menu to switch view.
- Crashes: If you opted into “Share with App Developers” in iOS analytics, we may receive an anonymized crash log. You can also email us with steps to reproduce and screenshots.
